"Pocket Music Theory" Named One of Top 10 Music Theory Textbooks of 2018

"Pocket Music Theory" by Keith Wyatt and Carl Schroeder (Hal Leonard Publishing) has been named one of the Top 10 Music Theory textbooks of 2018 by Ezvid Wiki.

The book, a compact version of "Harmony and Theory: A Comprehensive Source for All Musicians" by the same authors, is an introduction to the elements of popular music, including harmony, rhythm, and melody. Based on the popular core music theory curriculum written by the authors for Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California, the book explains chords, chord progressions, intervals, scales and other musical ingredients of styles from pop to blues, rock, and jazz.
